SIMONE INZAGHI ON THE EVE OF CROTONE VS LAZIO

Published on: 20 November 2020

On the eve of the match with Crotone, Mister Simone Inzaghi spoke at a press conference at the Sports Centre of Formello:

"I saw Immobile well yesterday, tomorrow I will evaluate it together with the national teams, who came back yesterday in fair conditions. Stroppa? We met again in a couple of circumstances, I will see him again with pleasure because he was an important person for me, he helped me a lot in my first year in Serie A. I will personally congratulate him for what he did last year. Winning tomorrow would be very important, it would allow us to restart on the right way.

Luis Alberto? He knows he was wrong and rightly will be fined by the club, but he worked well. Also in his case, I will decide tomorrow morning. We are expecting important matches from here until Christmas, between Serie A and Champions League. We are finally recovering someone, Strakosha and Luiz Felipe are on the road to recovery but they will not leave for Crotone. Then we will miss Lulic and Milinkovic, with Escalante who will need a few more days.

Milinkovic's positivity leaves some discontent but unfortunately many of my colleagues are in the same situation as us. Sergej will be missed but he is asymptomatic and I hope he can come back as soon as possible. I have seen Caicedo well, like all his teammates, he has worked well and tomorrow I will decide whether to deploy him. Crotone plays well, has his own identity, it will be difficult to face them. On Tuesday we will face Zenit but now we are focused only on Crotone."
