Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal Babes are confident in head coach Slacisa Bozicic after renewing his contract ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season which is scheduled to start in October.

The Serbian trainer was handed a three-year contract by the club despite failing to win a game in the truncated Ghana Premier League.

Earlier reports had indicated that the coach was set to leave the club to join Accra giants Hearts of Oak but King Faisal has been able to tie him down to a new deal.

Slavisa Bozicic joined King Faisal at the beginning of the 2019/20 league season to succeed Anthony Commey who was asked to step aside by the management of the club after going three matches in the Ghana Premier League without a win.

Executive Chairman of the club, George Amoako is hoping Slacisa Bozicic gives the club the needed results when the new season begins after agreeing to extend his stay with the club.

"We have no qualms with him and we are entering a 3-year permanent deal with him. We hope we can get the results from him", he told Oyerepa FM.

King Faisal was placed bottom on the league log in last season's league before it was cancelled by the Ghana FA due to the coronavirus pandemic.
