Smiles between Ramos and Florentino Perez in front of Zidane's seriousness

Published on: 03 December 2020

Florentino Perez's visit to Valdebebas for Real Madrid official team photo for 2020/21 saw the president and Sergio Ramos exchanging smiles and pleasantries, while Zinedine Zidane was a picture of seriousness, evidently affected by the side's poor form.

The president encouraged his players and Zidane ahead of a difficult week in which they'll face a decisive Champions League group game against Borussia Monchengladbach, between LaLiga Santander dates with Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.

Each and every player was greeted by Florentino Perez, and he showed concern for the state of the injured players, particularly Eden Hazard.

While there was no time for a formal meeting, Zidane and Florentino did have a brief chat, with both wearing serious expressions as they conversed.

Marcelo and Sergio Ramos had the president smiling with their usual good humour and jokes, and EFE have reported that there was no separate conversation between the captain and president to discuss his renewal.

The players posed for individual photographs and Florentino posed alongside specific groups of players, such as homegrown players, members of the coaching staff and recent signings.
