Socaloca App launched to boost player marketability in Ghana football

Published on: 17 July 2024

Football application Socaloca has been officially unveiled to enhance the marketability of players, particularly in Ghana's domestic scene.

The launch event took place at the UDS Guest House in Accra and was organized in partnership with the Ghana Football Association.

The app caters to both male and female players aged eight and older. It showcases players' statistics, profiles, and general information, including real-time starting line-ups, thereby enhancing their value and creating direct connections between buyers and sellers.

At the event, CEO and Founder of Socaloca, Lionel Foy, said: "The clubs can also trap the progress of its core group of players and when it's time for selling players, the club can easily list the players they want to sell on a marketplace. We want clubs to be able to make money from the passion that they have for football."

The app, which also allows players to upload videos, is available for download on iOS and Android.
