The Liverpool squad look to be in high spirits despite not being able to train together during self-isolation.

In a comical video which appeared to the club's official Twitter the squad have taken part in another group yoga session.

The whole team, who were gathered via video link, are unable to train at Melwood following the suspension of football amid the coronavirus outbreak.

But fans are loving a video which appeared to social media on Wednesday which shows the team laughing and joking ahead of a group warm-up.

Virgil van Dijk is in fine form throughout the three-minute clip as he joked around with his fellow team-mates Dejan Lovren and Sadio Mane.

The Reds defender first asked Lovren: "Dej, any chance you can wake up earlier and make sure you look alright as well? Do your hair at least, bro!"

He then started up on Mane as he joked: "I think, Sadio, you just took pictures on one day looking like you've ran different places and stuff, and then you send them in the morning."

Mane quickly responded by telling Gini Wijnaldum he suspects the Dutchman hasn't been training. The Senegal forward said: "Gini, you don't train, I am sure you don't train!"

To which Wijnaldum defends himself by replying: "Check the records, check the records. I always have the heartbeat on. Ask Andreas [Kornmayer]!

"You go on the beach one day and take ten pictures so you can send ten pictures to the group."

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain then randomly interjects by asking the group: "Hey, can anyone actually cross their legs by the way? Or is it just me [who can't]?"

Van Dijk who is attempting to cross his legs then asks Mane, who is wearing his club training gear: "Do you only wear your Liverpool clothes all day?"

Jordan Henderson, Mohamed Salah,Takumi Minamino and Xherdan Shaqiri are among those also on the video call with boss Jurgen Klopp.

As the session coincided with Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott's 17th birthday on April 4, the manager asked his squad to sing happy birthday to the Academy starlet in all of the various languages spoken by the team.

Before the video ends Klopp is heard encouraging the song to be sang in the English before requesting renditions in Portuguese, Croatian and so on.
