Son of former Ghana youth international Nana Asare, Dirk Junior Asare has signed for Belgian side KV Mechelen.
The 15-year old has signed a deal that will keep him at the club at 2022. His first professional contract.
He joins from the youth team of KV Mechelen following reports of interest from some big clubs including PSV Eindovhen of Holland.
Junior Asare is not related to former KV Mechelen star Nana Asare, who now plays for KAA Ghent.
But the swashbuckling midfielder is son of former Okwahu United and Ghana U-20 star Nana Asare.
Dirk Asare Junior has already represented Belgium at youth level after playing for the U-16 of the Red Devils.
