Ghana star Thomas Partey is said to be studying an offer from Atlético Madrid for a lucrative contract extension.
According to a publication by Mail Online, the offer has been on the table for months.
The 26-year-old is expected to sign his new Atlético deal in the coming weeks to extend his stay at the Metropolitano to 2023
Getting a pay rise would see his release clause double to €100 million.
"My agent is speaking with the club," Partey said in an earlier interview. "Sometimes what we want we can't have but I hope everything turns out well."
"Leave? Sometimes it's not the decision of the player, but the club too. If Atlético want me, I'll be here until they don't and then we will see what we'll do."
Manchester United and Arsenal have been linked with the highly-rated central midfielder.
