Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are in talks with two of their former players Matthew Anim Cudjoe and Justice Blay to sign them permanently according to reports in the media.
The duo was on loan at the Ghana Premier League side but have returned to the clubs following the truncation of the 2019/20 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Justice Blay joined Asante Kotoko on a season-long loan from Medeama SC in July 2019.
Youngster Matthew Anim Cudjoe joined the Porcupine Warriors from Division One side Young Apostles on a short loan deal.
According to sources at the club, there are talks ongoing to sign the two players permanently to beef up the squad ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
Medeama value Justice Blay at $150,000 if Asante Kotoko wants to activate the option to sign him permanently.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu has requested for the services of the two players as the club also prepares for the CAF Champions League next season.
The two players have expressed their readiness to play for the team should negotiations with their parent clubs go on successfully.
