South Africa star Percy Tau has charged his teammates to take advantage of playing at home when they host Ghana in the 2022 World Cup qualifier.

The Bafana Bafana were held in their first game against Zimbabwe in Harare, but return home to engage the Black Stars in the second group g game.

And ahead of Monday night's game, the newly signed Al Ahly player, remains positive and has urged the Bafana Bafana to seize the opportunity at home.

“I agree with the coach [Broos], and we want to use the opportunity of playing at home [to our advantage]," Tau said in a pre match conference.

"We wanted to win against Zimbabwe but I think a draw [away from home] was also good.

“So, if we get opportunities at home and we use them, it would be better for us going forward," the former Mamelodi Sundowns star added.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars team has been ravaged by the decision of the English FA to disallow players plying their trades in England from traveling to red listed countries like South Africa.

Ghana leads the group after the win over Ethiopia last Friday.
