Southampton manager Ivan Juric has expressed concerns over Kamaldeen Sulemana’s decision-making following the Saints’ 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Burnley on Saturday.

Despite showing flashes of brilliance, the Ghanaian winger struggled with his end product, leading to frustration from his coach.

Juric acknowledged Kamaldeen’s talent but urged him to be more composed in key moments.

"He did some really good things, I think he's a little bit impatient at the moment, and he wants to do one-on-one in the situation that he has to play," Juric told Daily Echo.

"I think it's normal because he's really feeling good, he wants to do his best, and I'm sure that what I saw in training, even today, he will score the goals."

Kamaldeen was lively throughout the match, completing six of his ten attempted dribbles and recording 49 touches with an 81% passing accuracy.

However, he managed just one off-target shot and had another attempt blocked before being substituted in the 86th minute.

Despite Southampton’s disappointment, the 22-year-old remains a key player for the team.

With Juric’s backing, Kamaldeen will aim to refine his decision-making and improve his contribution in front of goal.
