In the build-up to their Premiership clash this week Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has praised Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez stating: “Sanchez is back and that is for them a big player who will be very important for the last part of the season.
“He’s one of the players who is difficult to stop because they have so high qualities. He’s fast. Technically, he’s perfect”
Arsenal suffered their worst defeat of the season on Boxing Day to Saints losing 4-0. With many of their key players back from injury, including Sanchez who has not started a game since November, Gunners fans are hoping for retribution.
Koeman, however, is unphased by the North London clubs desire for revenge stating: “we will try and stop the strengths of the Arsenal team, which can be difficult because they have players who can bring high quality in a split second. But we also know their weaknesses because no-one is perfect”
