Spanish trainer William Zaragoza replaces Prosper Ogum as WAFA coach

Spanish trainer William Zaragoza has started training with WAFA after replacing Dr. Prosper Ogum as coach of the Academy boys.

William Zaragoza will be in charge of last season's second runner-ups in the league for the 2021/22 campaign.

His predecessor, Dr Prosper Ogum left to join Asante Kotoko after being in charge of the Sogakope-based club for the last two seasons.

The Spaniard will be expected to keep the club in the league and place a good position in the upcoming season.

WAFA have lost standout performers Augustine Boakye and Enoch Asubonteng in the transfer window, with the former joining Austrian outfit Wolfsberger AC and the latter moving to Premier League champions Hearts of Oak.

The Academy lads begin their 2021/22 campaign with a trip to King Faisal.
