Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Gyasi has urged his Spezia Calcio teammates to continue working hard after beating Ascoli 3-1 on Saturday.

Spezia were handed a first half shock after Leonardo Morosini put Ascoli ahead in the 30th minute.

But a brace from Giuseppe Mastinu put Spezia in the driving seat before Emmanuel Gyasi sealed the win in the 74th minute.

The victory took the Eagles to 2nd on the Italian Serie B standings with 40 points after 24 matches.

The 26-year-old is excited about the goal he scored in the game.

"We started well but they scored goals in the first action, we didn't give up and we managed to win the game. I'm at the coach's disposal, I put myself at the team's disposal and I'm happy with the goals and the win. We are fine and we work well in the week, we must continue like this and beat fast ".

Gyasi has scored two goals and provided three assists in twenty league games for the club in the ongoing campaign.
