Italy has become the epicenter of the Covid-19 in Europe with 74,386 cases recorded and 7,503 people confirmed dead.

Italy is currently under lock down as measures have been put in place to prevent the virus from spreading.

Gyasi through a post on social media has urged citizens to adhere to safety measures by the state and commended the health officials for the tireless work amid this crisis.

“We are certainly going through a difficult time, but I am sure we will get out of it if we all respect the rules imposed by the state: we are at home. I wanted to thank the doctors, nurses and health staff who are truly doing an incredible job in the hospitals on my behalf and in La Spezia. I really wanted to thank them. And send a hug to you too, reminding you again of the importance of staying at home ”.
