SPEZIA on a home-improvement run: 6 players on target

Published on: 04 September 2020

Gathering and forging a roster able up to top-tier tasks, and living up to Serie A dream, Spezia management are planning to fetch 36-year old Italian striker Giampaolo Pazzini, who just parted ways with Hellas Verona, which had joined back in summer 2015 first, on a free move; 29-year old midfielder Andrea Bertolacci, a free agent again after his short-living Sampdoria spell; 23-year old Brazilian wide midfielder Gabriel "Espeto" Strefezza and 24-year old Italian defensive midfielder Alessandro Murgia, both planning to leave SPAL. Besides, "Little Eagles" are having a run at bringing back Italian U21 international centre-back Riccardo Marchizza (22), from Sassuolo, and French-Angolan striker M'Bala Nzola (24), from Trapani, both key players throughout last successful season, at boss Vincenzo Italiano's service.
