Ghana's Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, has received praise for his crucial role in the Black Stars' recent victories in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Dr. Randy Abbey, chair of the Black Stars Management Committee, attributed the team's successes to Adams' tireless efforts.
The Black Stars secured a 5-0 win over Chad and a 3-0 victory over Madagascar, ending a nine-month winless streak.
These wins have maintained Ghana's impressive form in the World Cup qualifiers, with the team holding a three-point lead at the top of Group I.
According to Dr. Abbey, Minister Adams was "very, very instrumental" in ensuring the team's preparations were in place.
Adams worked diligently to guarantee the stadium's readiness and the team's requirements were met, even going above and beyond his ministerial duties.
Dr. Abbey expressed his gratitude to Minister Adams, saying, "I'll like to thank him for what he has done for the team, and I hope that we'll continue working together as a team and continue to do what we need to do for Ghana football."
