The Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams will hold a meeting with the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) today.
The Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency was officially sworn in as the sector minister on Friday, February 7 at the Jubilee House by President John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, Mr Adams confirmed that he has already held an unofficial engagement with the leadership of the Football Association but will hold an official meeting with the country's football governing body today.
"I have unofficially engaged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) before my swearing-in but I will hold an official meeting with them today," he said.
The meeting is expected to be held in the Conference Room of the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.
Several issues affecting the senior national team, the Black Stars, the Ghana Premier League and other national teams are expected to be discussed at the meeting.
The future of Otto Addo is expected to be discussed after failing to lead the Black Stars to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
