Belgium-born Ghanaian winger, Jeremy Doku made his injury comeback in Stade Rennais' victory over Lorient on Sunday.
The winger climbed off the bench to replace Ghanaian youngster Kamaldeen Sulemana in the 69th minute, and just nine minutes on the pitch he scored as Rennais left the Stade Yves Allainmat with all three points.
Gaetan Laborde opened the scoring in the 75 minute before Doku sealed victory with a sublime finish.
Doku has been out since September after suffering a thigh injury, which ruled him out of Belgium's World Cup qualifiers as well as some Ligue 1 games.
His return is huge boost for the high-flying French club, who currently sit second and behind giants PSG with 12 points.
They next face champions Lille on Wednesday as they continue their rich vein of form.
