Frosinone coach Roberto Stellone is relatively disappointed with the result against Atalanta, as he says they needed to claim victory.

La Dea and the Canarini drew 0-0 in Serie A on Saturday evening although both teams had chances to open the scoring, with Frosinone arguably being the better side throughout.

“We had a good first half in which we surely deserved more, but in the second half Atalanta grew and it finished a draw,” Stellone told Sky Sport Italia.

“It is too bad because we had to win and we wanted to try and shorten the gap between us and teams ahead of us in the standings.”

Stellone then discussed Frosinone’s actions in the January transfer window, although he remained tight-lipped about any signings that could be made.

“I do not like the talk about the market, the company knows what we need,” he said.
