Berekum Chelsea coach, Samuel Boadu, has urged his star forward Stephen Amankona to up his game and take the chances that come his way to end.

The former Asante Kotoko attacker has not scored in his last three games, the latest against Hearts of Oak on Wednesday afternoon in a Ghana Premier League week 29 clash at the Golden City Park.

Prior to that, he had scored two goals in back to back games, and is currently the leagues joint top scorer with 12 goals.

When asked about why Amankona is npt scoring after the 3-0 loss to Hearts of Oak, Boadu urged the player himself to take the initiative.

“They themselves have to put themselves up because the chances are coming their way,” the Ghana Premier League winner with Hearts of Oak told StarTimes.

“Those are chances that they can convert and they misuse them. So we have to sit down and talk to them.”

Berekum Chelsea’s next game will be against Asante Kotoko in the next two weekends.
