While his assistant Akwesi Appiah and his entire squad were dispatched to watch their Group D opponents Guineain a friendly against Senegal on Friday, the Serbian coach secretly went to watch Mali in their game.

While Appiah was monitoring the two countries, Stevanovic and his goalkeepers’ trainer Eddie Ansah smuggled themselves into a nearby stadium to watch another of Ghana's group opponents Mali play Burkina at the same time.

The match ended 1-1 but it left the Serbian trainer with a lot of information on the Malians.

This will go a long way in forming his opinion on how to line-up against the Eagles when the African Cup of Nations opens in January in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
