While his assistant Akwesi Appiah and his entire squad were dispatched to watch their Group D opponents Guineain a friendly against Senegal on Friday, the Serbian coach secretly went to watch Mali in their game.
While Appiah was monitoring the two countries, Stevanovic and his goalkeepersââ¬â¢ trainer Eddie Ansah smuggled themselves into a nearby stadium to watch another of Ghana's group opponents Mali play Burkina at the same time.
The match ended 1-1 but it left the Serbian trainer with a lot of information on the Malians.
This will go a long way in forming his opinion on how to line-up against the Eagles when the African Cup of Nations opens in January in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
