Striker Ahmed Toure will remain with Asante Kotoko at least until the January transfer window opens.

The 24-year-old Ivorian has been the center of transfer talks  throughout the offseason with some Serbian clubs reportedly expressing interests in his services.

However the former African Champions who have maintained they would only sell if the price is right have confirmed the stay of last season’s Premier League Best Player.

"All players who are supposed to leave the club have already left," PRO of the Kumasi-based club Listowell Bukarson told Hot FM.

"Ahmed Toure will stay for now since he is not part of the list of players management have made available to clubs interested in their services."

Toure emerged as the poster boy of the Premier League after only being drafted into the Kotoko setup in the second round.

His hardwork, skill and goals endeared him to the Ghanaian fans and has expressed willingness to switch nationalities to be able to feature for the Black Stars.
