Striker Amed Toure scored the only goal as Asante Kotoko drew Bechem United 1-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a friendly on Sunday evening.
Bechem United went up early in the second half but the determined Kotoko side, made up of players who have not been active lately, fought relentlessly to draw level late into the game.
Substitute Stephen Oduro delivered one of his trademark free kicks deep into 18-yard box and Toure, in characteristic fashion, out-jumped his markers to beautifully head the ball into the net.
The game, which lasted 70 minutes (35 minutes for each half) because of a division one match played earlier, saw Kotoko and Bechem United playing delightful football in front a sparsely seated crowd.
