NAC Breda striker Matthew Amoah got his new season campaign off to a bright start as he scored the only goal in their 1-0 friendly win over Valenciennes over the weekend.
The Ghana international struck in the first half to seal the victory over the French side.
Amoah played the entire duration of the game.
The game is their last friendly before they start the season against AZ Alkmaar next week.
Amoah who did not see much action during the World Cup is expected to use his this season to maintain his place in the Black Stars
