Turkey-based striker Benjamin Tetteh gave a good account of himself when he came on for his first Black Stars appearance on Saturday.
Tetteh replaced Jordan Ayew in the 3-1 win over Zimbabwe in the World Cup qualifier at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The former U20 player, in the 30 minutes on the field, justified his inclusion in the squad. He made good runs and linked up well with his teammates.
Ghana were drawing when Tetteh came on and he helped record a vital win that keeps the team in contention for qualification.
Tetteh earned his debut call-up thanks to three goals in seven games for Turkish top-flight side Yeni Malatyaspor so far this season.
