Striker Edwin Osei Pele wants Aduana permanent stay

Striker Edwin Osei Pele is determined to make his loan move at Aduana Stars permanent.

The Hearts of Oak striker was farmed out to Aduana in January after he fell out of favour under Serbian trainer Nebjosa Vucecivic.

But the 22-year-old became a big hit for the Dorma-based side where he helped them to earn a top-six finish at the end of the season.

He is expected to revert to his parent club ahead of the new season.

But Pele, linked with Greek giants Panathinakos in the past, wants to be guaranteed first team football at the capital-based side before he considers that option.

“ I spoke with management about the possibility of making my stay permanent because I still have a year left on my contract,” Pele said

“I don’t know if I am part of their (Hearts) plans next season. If I am, then I will be willing to return. But if not, then I believe I will be better served here.

“I am grateful to Hearts management for allowing me to leave for loan last season. I came here and helped them to the sixth position and Aduana officials are very happy with me.

“There are many teams including European ones that I am also looking at,”
