Striker Elijah Addai happy score Vision FC’s maiden Ghana Premier League goal

Striker Elijah Addai has shared his excitement after scoring Vision FC’s maiden goal in the Ghana Premier League.

The former Bofoakwa Tano attacker delivered a top-class performance to help Vision FC secured their first victory of the 2024/25 domestic top-flight.

The game, held at the Accra Sports Stadium saw Vision FC defeating Accra Lions. Elijah Addai and Emmanuel Kyei Baffour scored at the death of each half to hand the visitors’ victory in the thrilling encounter.

“I’m feeling great. Going into the game, I felt that I should be the one to score Vision FC’s first ever goal in the Ghana Premier League. It felt I have achieve a goal that I personally set for myself”

“I knew I was going to score. I wanted to write my name in the history books of Vision FC and I did it so I felt proud. This is just like qualifying Bofoakwa Tano to the finals of the FA Cup after 40-years” he added.

Vision FC will welcome Legon Cities to the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

The Premier League debutants has nor fared bad after two games, winning one and drawing one across the period.
