Striker Isaac Mensah has been loaned back to his former club Nkoranza Warriors after sealing a move to Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak.

This will see the youngster complete the 2019/20 season with the Division One League outfit.

''We spoke to the club. The player was willing to complete the season with [Nkoranza] Warriors despite the deal to Hearts of Oak,'' Nkoranza Warriors spokesperson Habib Mohammed told

''So when Hearts made their proposal, we held talks with them over loaning Mensah back to us.

''They also agreed in principle to allow him to complete the season and begin the new campaign with them [Hearts].''

Mensah signed a three-year contract with the Phobians.

''They [Hearts] believed it was the ideal situation and he [Isaac Mensah] will come good when he does pre-season [with the club] he will be well vexed with the coach's philosophy and tactics,'' he added.

''That's why he was loaned back to us.''
