Bucaspor's Ghanaian striker Kabiru Moro underwent knee surgery on Monday and is set to be out of action for almost six months, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Turkish second-tier side on a six month loan deal this summer, aggravated a knee injury at the Izmir-based side's training ground last week.
He told GHANAsoccernet.com: "I underwent surgery on Monday and I will sit out for six months. It is an injury I sustained last season when we played against Kotoko. I'm very sad but I believe with God everything will be fine."
With the Turkish division two set to kick off later this month, Moro could return next March.
