Striker Sulley Mohammed has been ruled out of Ghana’s first leg encounter of the ultimate African Youth Championships qualifier against Gabon on Saturday.

The King Faisal forward has failed to make a full recovery from an ankle injury and has excluded from the matchday squad.

Coach Sellas Tetteh named an all-attacking line up which includes the likes of Prosper Kasim, and Samuel Afful for the 3pm kickoff to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.

New Edubiase star Seidu Attorbrah meanwhile drops to the bench.

Asante Kotoko’s Mutawakilu Seidu mans the post and will be shielded by the back four of Joseph Bempah, Latif Abubakar, Stephen Badu and Thomas Agyepong.

The Black Satellites aim to record a convincing win over Gabon to render the return encounter in a fortnight a mere formality.

Ghana’s starting XI:

Mutawakilu Seidu, Joseph Bempah, Latif Abubakar, Stephen Badu, Thomas Agyepong, Samuel Tetteh, Samuel Afful, Prosper Kasim, Patrick Asmah, Joseph Adjei and Yaw Yeboah.
