Stubborn Vucicevic waiting for Hearts boot

Nebojsa Vucicevic wants to continue as coach of Hearts of Oak but will leave if officials make it clear he is no longer wanted at the club.

The Serbian trainer has come under immense pressure from supporters who are unhappy with results with the results in the second round of the Premier League.

The Phobians have now gone three games without a win during which time they have picked up just five points out of a possible twelve.

The 45-year-old despite not happy with the results himself is not throwing in the towel just yet after failing to win the first of a two-game ultimatum given him last week by the club’s board.

“I am also not happy with the way things are going,” he said.

“We brought in good players but we are not getting the result.

“If they (officials) think I am the problem I will go.”

Hearts are now in desperate need of a win after seeing rivals Asante Kotoko open up a staggering nine-point lead at the top the Ghanaian topflight as a result of their recent slump.
