The Sudanese Football Association (SFA) has announced that football activities will resume in the country from 15 August 2020.
The decision was announced on Sunday morning following an Executive Committee meeting in Khartoum.
The Sudan Premier League and all other football competitions have been on suspension since mid-March following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The two giants Al Hilal Omdurman and Al Merreikh are in a hot chase for the title as the former lead the standings with just three points separating them from latter who are second.
With 24 matches played already, there are eight more games to end the season.
