Sudanese referee Khalid Abdel Rahman has been appointed the center referee for Ghana's 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi.

The 44-year-old will be assisted by compatriots Waleed Ahmed Ali (1st Assistant), Mohammed Idam Hamid (2nd Assistant) and Badr El Din Abdel Gadir (4th Official) for the clash in Lilongwe.

Referee Abdel Rahman was the man in charge when the Black Stars defeated Sudan 3-0 in a 2010 World Cup qualifier in 2008 at Essipong.

He also handled the local Black Stars's 2-1 defeat to South Africa at the 2011 CHAN tournament in Sudan.

Ghana carry a 2-0 lead secured after the first leg in Accra last month into the return encounter on October 13
