Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has been linked with a move to Serie A outfit AS Roma in a transaction that could be part of the transfer of Mirko Vucinic during the January window, according to Tuttosport.

Muntari has been explicit about his decision to leave European champions Inter Milan due to limited playing time in the domestic league and Europe.

The 26-year-old has been a bit-part player at the San Siro with the arrival of Spanish manager Rafael Benitez.

Early this week, English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, have distanced themselves from signing the Ghana World Cup player.

Muntari moved to Inter three seasons ago after spending a season at Portsmouth where he won the FA Cup under manager Harry Redknapp.
