Sulley Muntari signed off for next weekendââ¬â¢s internationals by helping AC Milan beat Palermo 2-0 in the Italian Serie-A on Sunday.
The Ghana midfielder is expected to arrive in the Black Stars camp by Monday evening for the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan on March 24.
The 28-year-old played the full 90 minutes in the vital win that now takes the Rossoneri within two points of second-placed Napoli.
Milan recovered from their midweek heartache in the Champions League to post the win on Sunday with both goals being scored by Mario Balotelli on the 8th and 66th minute respectively.
Fellow Ghana Kevin-Prince Boateng also featured in the game at the San Siro but was replaced in the 81st minute by Malian Bakaye Traore.
