Summary – Aduana Stars 2-1 Inter Allies – Dormaa:

Inter Allies FC were defeated 2-1 by Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa on a sunny Wednesday afternoon.

Samuel Armah returned to the team only to score the consolation after going down by two, courtesy Yahaya Mohammed and Emmanuel Adjetey own goal.

The technical team made two changes to the side that defeated WAFA SC 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium last Saturday.

Samuel Armah and Emmanuel Adjetey replaced Nafiu Sulemana and Fard Ibrahim in the starting line up respectively.

Both sides were very cautious from the beginning of the match with the midfield taking all the action.

The first half was nearly a perfect one for the Eleven Is To One until the 44th minute where Yahaya Mohammed poked in from close range.

We were a bit disappointed to let in the first goal in that manner, with just a minute to end the first half.

In the early embers of he second half, Emmanuel Adjetey tried to clear his lines from a cross and the ball ended up in his own net making it 2-0 for the home side.

But our boys didn’t back down, they lifted their fire and kept pushing.

With ten minutes left on the clock, we were awarded a penalty and but the referee after consultation with the fourth referee and match commissioner decided to over turn the decision.

That action didn’t let the boys down, Samuel Armah was quick to meet a cross from the left with his right foot and gave us a consolation.

Our kept pushing but wasn’t enough to at least earn as a point in Dormaa.
