Sunderland salute Kotoko for winning Ghana Premier League

English Premier League side Sunderland have recognized their club partners Asante Kotoko for winning this season's Ghana Premier League.

A story titled; "Partners Kotoko secure league title" was posted on the official Sunderland website on Thursday.

Sunderland also praised Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu who spent two weeks at Wearside in last July earlier in the season and worked closely with their coaching staff.

Kotoko won the league title last Sunday when they drew 0-0 with Berekum Arsenal to open a 15-point gap with four matches left to spare.

Kotoko signed a partnership agreement with Sunderland last July which has seen the Black Cats provide coaching and business expertise.
