Sunderland's Gyan open to transfer offers

Asamoah Gyan will have no qualms about leaving Sunderland if the Premiership club is willing to sell, the striker has revealed exclusively to GHANAsoccernet.com.

The Ghana international has recently been linked with a transfer move to some of Europe's elite clubs with Spanish giants Real Madrid reportedly interested.

However Gyan, 25, who is looking forward to an improved season at the Stadium of Light says he would only move if the English club is ready to make a deal with any of his potential suitors.

"Now I am a player of Sunderland and so far there is nothing concrete, it's just rumours," he exclusively told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"I am happy at Sunderland but the people from Sunderland would have to decide whether I'm leaving or staying."

The ex Udinese player is just one year into his four-year deal with the Black Cats but is already stirring interests following a successful first season in the Premiership.

He cost the English club in excess of £13m paid to French club Stade Renne to secure his services.
