Midfielder Mumuni Abubakar is aiming to use his move to Sundowns as a stepping stone to further his career.
The 18-year-old was part of a double swoop made by the South African club in a deal which includes Ghana Premier Leagueââ¬â¢s top goalscoroer Emmanuel Baffour.
The former New Edubiase player who was in action for the Ghana U-20 side against Uganda last weekend is however looking to further his career beyound playing in the PSL.
ââ¬ÅAs a young player going to South Africa I think that is not going to be my end, I pray I play very well there and move ahead,ââ¬
ââ¬ÅPlaying only in South Africa is not my aim, I want to take my career further to be able to even play for the Black Stars.
ââ¬ÅI hope it all goes well for me, for me to keep my discipline both on and of the pitch and God willing I will succeed.ââ¬
Abubakar earlier this year tried out at English giants Liverpool before subsequently moving to Sundowns.
