Elmina Sharks defender Suraj Ibrahim became the first player to be sent off in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
The right back took an early shower in the 37th minute when he accumulated two yellow cards.
His first yellow card was before the half hour mark.
His absence cost the visitors who went down 1-0 on 43 minutes through Kwadwo Asamoah.
Sharks went on to score their second goal late on.
