Swansea City manager Steve Cooper has hailed the importance of Andre Ayew to his side after the Ghana forward climbed off the bench to rescue a point against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
Ayew came off the bench to produce a superb individual goal and earn the Swans a share of the spoils against Sheffield Wednesday at the Liberty Stadium.
The Jack Army had trailed to an Adam Reach goal, after a first half where they had plenty of possession but found it tough to break down the visitors.
“It was brilliant, and we needed him tonight,” Cooper stated.
“We have drawn a game at home, and we are frustrated we have not got all three points."
Ayew has scored 6 goals to help Swansea climb to 4th on the log after matchday 13.
