English side Swansea City are set to appoint Francesco Guidolin as their new head coach until the end of the season.
The former Udinese coach has been out of work since leaving the Zebrette in 2014.
According to BBC Wales, Guidolin will be named as Swansea’s new coach in the coming days but will not take charge of their next game at home to Watford.
The reports also suggests that Guidolin will work with current interim manager Alan Curtis.
The 60-year-coach spent four years at the Stadio Friuli, nurturing the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Juan Cuadrado while at the Bianconeri.
Guidolin has also coached Palermo on four different occasions as well as spending two years at Parma.
The appointment is somewhat of a risk Swansea as Guidolin has never coached in England.
