Swansea to deny Newcastle move for Gomis

Newcastle United's approach for Bafetimbi Gomis will be rejected by Swansea City, according to reports from Wales Online.

Newcastle have been in the market to sign a new striker this winter and it was reported that the Magpies had placed a £7million bid to sign Swansea's Gomis.

However, Swansea are not willing to allow the Frenchman to leave this month and according to reports, it has been revealed that the Welsh side will reject Newcastle's approach for the 30-year-old on deadline day.
