Swaziland recall deadly duo to face Ghana in AFCON qualifier

Swaziland have recalled Mbabane Swallows fiery winger Darren 'Dazza' Christie and Mbabane Highlanders tricky forward Khayelihle 'Karas' Dlamini to face Ghana in the 2012 Nations Cup qualifier in September.

The two players are amongst those who have been told to attend the squad's mini full-time camp to start on Sunday at the National Football Association Technical Centre in Lobamba.

Both players missed the squad's recent qualifier against Sudan played at the Mavuso Sports Centre, where the locals went down by 1-2.

Also back in the squad is Malanti Chiefs' experienced defender Sifiso 'CJ' Dlamini.

Sihlangu will play South Africa Premier Soccer League side Mamelodi Sundowns on 27 July  at Mavuso Sports Centre.

"Let me also stress that this camp is not for the friendly game against Mamelodi Sundowns but for the Ghana game," Squad manager Sandile Zwane said.

"It's very important that all the players called up attend without fail. People must also understand that the game against Sundowns is for practice purposes, otherwise our focus is on the game against Ghana," Zwane stressed.
