Swedish side AIK joins chase for Richmond Boakye-Yiadom

Swedish top-flight side AIK have showed interest in signing Ghana forward Richmond Boa in the ongoing transfer window.

The 27-year old is been chased by a lot of clubs in Europe and Asia after leaving Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade in December last year. Boakye is currently a free agent after ending his four year stay with Red Star Belgrade, scoring 60 goals in over 100 appearances for the club.

As earlier reported by GHANAsoccernet.com, Saudi side Al Nasr have also contacted the player's camp to sign him. Turkish club Fenerbache have also gotten in touch with Boakye Yiadom over a proposed move to the club in ongoing January transfer window.

Sources close to the players have indicated a move to England is possible as some clubs in the English Championship will want to sign the talented forward.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has had stints with Juventus, Atlanta, Sassuolo, Elche, Latina and a host of clubs.
