Swedish Tom Strand signs two-year contract to coach Bechem United

Swedish coach Tom Marcus Christian Strand has signed a two-year contract to take charge of Ghana Premier League side Bechem United, MTNFootball.com has reported. 

He replaces Montenegrin Bogdanovic Milisav who was sacked two months ago and has since joined Aduana Stars.

The 31-year-old will be the youngest coach in the Ghana top-flight for the 2013/2014 season.

Strand will be paid a monthly salary of US$ 2000 and will be pocket a bonus of US$ 5000 if he leads the side to win the Ghana Premier League.

Former player Osei Wire will assist him at the club.

Before his appointment, Strand was working with the Golden Boot Academy in Akosombo.

Bechem finished 11th at the end of the first round of the Ghana Premier League.
