Ghana striker Prince Tagoe has told his international team mates not to lower the bar at the World Cup finals urging them to go beyond the round 16 stage. Tagoe, 23, says the players will make Milovan Rajevac final list cannot disappoint the country and self-styled fans of the Black Stars.

"It's everybody's joy to be in the World Cup so when you are player and you are given this opportunity you have to do your best and help the country. I think the tournament is yet to begin but I think with hard work and determination, everything is possible," Tagoe said.

He has regained his form at club side Hoffenheim after a dubious medical test which suggested he had a heart problem nearly marred his career.

Tagoe is aiming to play in his first World Cup finals after being named in the initial 30-man squad.

I believe so much in our coach that he will select players who will be willing to die for mother Ghana in order to make her proud.I wish all the 30 players all the best and support the team if not selected in the 23man aquad.

Mr Daavi, I think you are very patriotic. Your advice to those 7 players who cannot make the final 23 to support the team is very sensible. I think it will be even glorious if your advice is extended to those who for some reason, hate the coach. I think if these guys really want the Black Stars to succeed, then they should spare the coach their unwarranted and destructive criticism even before a ball has been kicked, so that the coach can concentrate and focus on the important things. For whether we like it or not, for this moment, he is the one leading the boys. They should not let their hatred cloud their love for Ghana. Criticise, by all means yes. But the criticisms should be tampered with reasonability.

i like this guy bcos of his style of play.he is to me our best striker in the 30man squrd.gyan is on form but tagoe is hardworking and can play behind a striker or as the main striker and also on the wings.his scoring is superb like tony yegoalaaah and i will love to see him in the team with gyan when we turn to 4-4-2.

thats so true kenneth county.its about time we all support the coach n the tean irrespective of the players he calls. a team like ivory coast is made up of bunch of individual great players but they dont play as a team.their ex coach vahid halihodzic said that ivory coast rely on individuals.we have to be gateful that we have a master tactician like milo who knows about the game.mourinho is known for his defensive game play cuz even on the final day of the serie when they played against relegated ac sienna, his side played a defensive game thats why they won 1-0. milo we are behind u no matter what.
