Ghana's young diligent midfielder, Ahmed Awua Ankrah has been in incredible form for Parma in the two months.

The 19-year-old scored a goal of the season contender to snatch a point for Parma last Saturday when they welcome Cremonese at the C.S Parma park in Italy's Primavera 2 division.

Awua started in defence as has become his default role in the last seven matches, but was moved to the midfield in the second half to maximise his playmaking skills and proclivity to shoot from distant.

Cremonese took command of the game when they took the lead through Giovanni Valtulini in the 21st minute of the first half. But Parma came back to wrestle control in the second half with a flurry of attacks in their opponent's half.

In the 66th minute, left winger Chaka Traore wriggled his way through three defenders to lay the ball for Awua who was lurking around the edge of the 18-yard box. The Ghanaian's perfect first touch-enabled him to move past a midfielder and sent in a thunderbolt to equalize for Parma.

Mondoprimavera rated Ankrah 7 with the following comments "alternates excellent closures with setting errors, always puts physicality in duels and often wins them. In the second half, he is put in the middle of the field and finds a great goal from distance with a powerful right. "

Ahmed Awua has been Parma's effective and consistent player this season. Regularly scoring above 6 by Mondoprimavera. The Yellow and Blues are unbeaten in their last seven matches that Awua has captained the team on the field
