WAFA unleashed an exciting teenager Augustine Boakye on Sunday for his Ghana Premier League debut in the 3-1 win at Liberty Professionals.

The 17-year-old replaced Justice Aaron Amate just after the hour mark.

Boakye was influential on the pitch and played a pivotal role in the second goal scored by Richard Danso.

He delivered a cross from the right which was chested down by Fofana Ibrahim for Danso to smash home.

On match day 1, three players- Prosper Ahiabu, Francis Boateng and Yousifou Atte-also made their debuts.
