Young striker Maxwell Boadu Acosty gate crashed the Team of the Week after grabbing a hat-trick for Fiorentina's Primavera squad.

There are places for Abdul Razak Nuhu and former Ghana Under-20 defender Kassenu Ghandy.

ADAM LARSEN KWARASEY (Stromsgodset)

The 23-year-old returned from the international break to help Stromsgodset record a 2-1 victory over Valerenga.

Valerenga unleashed every single arsenal but the Black Stars No 1 dealt with all except a Morten Berre effort that went past him on the 65th minute.

He pulled an incredible second half stop to deny the visitors the leveller.

KASSENU GHANDY (FC Sheriff)

The former Ghana Under-20 left-back put up a commanding performance for the Moldova league leaders FC Sheriff.

Ghandy was careful with his tackles and had an excellent link up with the FC Sheriff attack.

ABDUL RAZAK NUHU (Stromsgodset)

Nuhu's performance for Stromsgodset was inspiring. He defended well and joined the attack when necessary.

His brilliance from the left flank added bite to the Stroms attack and limited Valerenga's chances in the game.

JERRY AKAMINKO (Manisaspor)

The former Heart of Lions showed great confidence in defence for Manisaspor. He was strong in the air and made some decent challenge.

JERRY VANDAM (Caen)

Vandam was flawless in almost all his challenges for the ball as well as his tackles.

The France-born defender's performance will excite Lille, his mother club.

KING OSEI GYAN (Viking)

Osei Gyan scored a 90th minute equaliser for Viking in a 1-1 drawn game. The former Fulham youngster was a delight to watch in midfield.

He shielded the defence and served as a link between the midfield.

NANA AKWASI ASARE (FC Utrecht)

The 25-year-old continued to justify and express himself as a top class quality player. Asare, a natural left-back has been performing creditably as a winger.

Utrecht relied heavily on his ability to carry the game to the opposition.

QUINCY OWUSU-ABEYIE

Quincy was as usual pacey and skilful in the Greek Super League derby clash. He proved his quality as a top class player causing havoc on wings.

ANDRE AYEW

Though Marseille lost to Montpellier, Andre was never short of excellence. You could say he distinguished himself.

MAXWELL BOADU ACOSTY

Acosty returned from his one month ban to score a hat-trick for Fiorentina's primavera squad as they defeated Modena 4-2.

The 19-year-old West Brom target scored all first three goals for Fiorentina and could be on his way into the Fiorentina first team squad.
